The new Cannon 173cm is the most versatile Big Boy tapered Swallowtailed board around – offering more speed, more float, and more fun for hauling down AK lines or just simply cruising the groomers at home. The Cannon has become a staple in the Quiver series because of its ability to gain speed, and maintain float no matter how deep, steep, or chopped up it is. This year Nitro has introduced a new size, 173cm, which makes the board even more versatile in the trees, while the shape and Cam-Out Camber provide the stability and float you need from AK lines to pillow stacks.


PROFILE

  • CAM-OUT  Nitro's CAM-OUT Camber is basically a TRÜE Camber with early and smooth transitions into tip and tail. The result is a fun and responsive board that turns on the spot and is forgiving, even after that 713.5° landing!
  • All Terrain Flex  Nitro's  most versatile flex pattern, combining Nitro’s signature pop with smooth response, allowing you to tear up the entire mountain.

CORE

  • Powercore II: Enhanced Performance and Extra StrengthThe Powercore II is a tip-to-tail poplar wood core with additional beech wood stringers for unrivaled strength, smooth response and insane snap.
  • BI-Lite Laminates: Forgiving and Strong  Nitro's rider-trusted Bi-Lite Laminates are engineered for unrivaled strength, powerful style and refined board-feel.

BASE

  • Sintered Speed Formula Base: High Density - High Durability  Utilizing a new base material compound, we have been able to achieve higher abrasion resistance, increased wax absorption and higher on-snow speeds.

SIDEWALL

  • Progressive Sidecut  A larger radius in the front, blended into a tighter one towards the tail: The progressive sidecut makes accelerating out of turns a breeze, while maintaining a catch-free nose area.
